Surprising number of tickets still available for Game 5 of Celtics-Heat at TD Garden

BOSTON — There is a surprising number of tickets still available for Thursday night’s Eastern Conference Finals showdown at TD Garden between the Boston Celtics and Miami Heat.

With hundreds of tickets available across every balcony and loge section, the Celtics took to social media in an effort to get more fans packed into the Garden for Game 5.

“Celtics Nation, we need you,” the team said in a tweet with their season on the line. “Secure your tickets and get ready to be LOUD.”

There are even some seats still unsold on the floor and in VIP sections.

The cost for available seats ranges between $180 and $3,585. Here’s what the seating chart looked like as of Wednesday morning:

Boston currently trails Miami, 3-1, in their best-of-seven Eastern Conference Finals series.

Behind Jayson Tatum’s 34 points and 11 rebounds, the Celtics were able to stave off elimination in Game 4 in South Beach, winning 116-99.

Game 5 tips off at 8:30 p.m.
