A neighborhood in Reading was evacuated due to a gas leak on Tuesday afternoon.
Several homes on Washington Street were evacuated after a propane gas tank began leaking in a home.
Washington Street was closed for over an hour but the neighborhood reopened for families around 6:00 p.m.
The state’s Hazmat Team and Bomb Squad also assisted at the scene as well.
