CHATAM, Mass. — Authorities are investigating a serious motor vehicle crash in Chatham.

Police are advising motorists to avoid route 28 and Main Street between George Ryder Road and Woodpecker Valley Road as they investigate.

Drivers are urged to use Sam Ryder Road and George Ryder Road to access areas.
