Police investigating deadly shooting in Brockton

BROCKTON, Mass. — The Brockton Police Department and the Plymouth County District Attorney’s office are investigating a deadly shooting that happened early Saturday morning.

Brockton police told Boston 25 News that officers responded to the shooting at 21 Auna Drive shortly before 2:35 a.m. Saturday.

The male victim was found suffering from multiple gunshot wounds and was transported to Good Samaritan Hospital where e was pronounced dead, according to Plymouth County District Attorney’s office.

The victim is not being identified at this time and no arrests in connection with the shooting have been announced by authorities.

The shooting is being investigated by Brockton police detectives and detectives assigned to DA Tim Cruz’s office.

No further details have been released at this time.
