Missing 68-year-old Chelsea woman with Alzheimer’s found safely in Revere

CHELSEA, Mass. — An 68-year-old Chelsea resident who suffers from Alzheimer’s has been found, police say.

According to police, Esperanza Tenorio had last been seen after leaving 855 Broadway at 4 p.m. on Tuesday.

She was later found on Fuller Street on the Everett line, where she was evaluated by EMS and reunited with family in Revere.

Tenorio is new to Chelsea and does not speak English. She is described as being 5′5″ and weighing around 120 lbs.

She was last seen wearing black shorts, a black shirt with “California” printed on it and a bear image on the front.

Tenorio has been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s and was last seen heading toward the Chelsea-Revere line.
