Life in prison for woman convicted in 2018 murder of Westminster man

WORCESTER — The woman convicted in the 2018 murder of a Westminster was sentenced Friday to life in prison.

Julia Enright was found guilty of second-degree murder in November of last year.

Enright’s victim, Brandon Chicklis was last seen by his family on June 23, 2018. His body was discovered weeks later on the side of Route 119 in Rindge, N.H.

Investigators said Chicklis’ blood was found in Enright’s car and in a treehouse located right next to her property, which is down a long, private driveway in Ashburnham.

Enright will be eligible to seek parole in 25 years.

“Today’s sentencing doesn’t remove the pain experienced by the Chicklis family after losing their loved one, but we hope it brings a measure of justice for this young man and his family,” Worcester County District Attorney Joe Early said.

“We are grateful and appreciative of the dedication and hard work by all the law enforcement agencies involved and the prosecutors and victim witness advocates who helped seek justice for Brandon,” family and friends of Brandon Chicklis said in a statement.
