Donate winter coats for ‘Coats for Kids and Families Drive!’

NATICK, Mass. — Donate coats at the annual Boston 25 Cares Coat Drop-off Day in support of the ‘Coats For Kids and Families Drive’.

The Boston 25 Weather Team will be accepting warm winter coats that are brand new or in good condition on Saturday, December 3rd from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Jordan’s Furniture in Natick. All sizes are needed for kids and adults.

Donated coats will be cleaned free of charge by Anton’s Cleaners. Once collected and cleaned the coats are distributed through the Coats For Kids Distribution Partners Network which includes organizations such as the Massachusetts Community Action Programs (MASSCAP), The Salvation Army, Women’s Lunch Place, BU Medical Center Outreach Van Project, and Catholic Charities to name a few.

Coats for Kids accepts warm winter coats that are gently used, good quality, and all sizes (especially kids’ XL and infant/pre-K sizes). The drive does not accept coats with rips, tears, broken zippers, or permanent stains, nor can we accept sweatshirts, vests and spring coats.
