FALMOUTH, Mass. — As Cape Cod authorities investigate the death of 34-year-old Sharee Daluze, Cape and Islands DA Michael O’Keefe said in a statement Tuesday, “There is nothing at this time to suggest foul play.”
Falmouth Police said Daluze was last seen at about 10:30 p.m. Monday night walking in a parking lot near Jim’s Clam Shack on Scranton Avenue. At 2 a.m. Tuesday, police discovered Daluze’s car in that parking lot with its engine, hazard lights and windshield wipers all running.
Overnight, a K9 Unit from the Barnstable County Sheriff’s Office joined the search. At 10:18 a.m. Tuesday, nearly 12 hours after Daluze was last seen, a woman’s body was found in Falmouth Harbor near Deacon and Vernon avenues.
The location is across the harbor from where Daluze was last seen.
Soon, authorities identified the woman as Sharee Daluze and her family was notified. At Falmouth Police Headquarters, Sharee’s father, Robert, said he was stunned. He said his daughter was well-liked, was proud of her son, and that, as a teenager, she was part of championship basketball teams at Harwich High School.
At 10:18 am a party located a body in Falmouth Harbor. The body was later identified as Sharee Daluze. The Falmouth Police Detective Bureau, MA State Police Detective Unit, Cape & Islands District Attorney’s Office, & the Medical Examiner’s Office are investigating the incident.

Falmouth Police said Sharee was living in Yarmouth but recently had been living in a Falmouth sober house. Late in the afternoon, friends and family gathered in the parking lot where Sharee was last seen. Many were visibly shaken.
“Everyone loved Sharee, she had a heart of gold,” one family member said.
The Falmouth Police Detective Bureau, MA State Police Detective Unit, Cape & Islands District Attorney’s office, and the medical examiner’s office are investigating the incident.
