WESTFORD, Mass. — Westford Police and the Middlesex County District Attorney’s Office are investigating after a crash killed a bicyclist in the town just after 5:30 p.m. Tuesday evening. That victim has only been identified as a 62-year-old man.
According to police, that man was struck by a Cadillac sedan traveling west on Route 40 at 5:35 p.m. He was then transported to Lowell General Hospital where he later died. The driver of the Cadillac remained on scene.

There has been no word from officials on if that driver will face charges.
