LEOMINSTER, Mass. — A crash has forced the closure of Interstate 190 southbound in Leominster on Tuesday morning.
All southbound lanes are closed between Route 2 and Exit 19 due to the crash, according to the Massachusetts Department of Transportation.
The closure was reported just after 6:30 a.m.
Drivers are urged to seek alternate routes and expect delays in the area.
No information about injuries or when the roadway will reopen was immediately available.
Aerial video from the scene showed a wrecked vehicle spun around in the breakdown lane, a second vehicle in the grassy median, and a massive line of vehicles stopped behind the crash.
