Big sports weekend for fans at Gillette and Fenway

BOSTON — It’s a big sports weekend for fans both at Gillette and Fenway. Mac Jones is going for his second win.

The Red Sox are sticking with their yellow “city connect” jerseys for they Yankees series as their winning streak continues.

At Gillette for years to come there will always be that question at the Pro Shop. Mac Jones or Brady shirt.

“You know it is going to be tough,” one fan said. But it looks like even die hard sports fans are having trouble finding the gear for the new Pat’s star.

“I ordered it online and it is going to be here in November,” said another fan.

At Fenway Park, the Red Sox say they are sticking with the yellow Marathon Tribute jerseys going into the Yankees series.

Some fans were all in at Fenway.

“It could be their secret sauce,” said one fan. “I’m not a fan. I like the traditional,” said another fan.

The Red Sox telling us Friday that no decision has been made about wearing them into the Playoffs if they do make it.
