CANTON, Mass — After more than 75 years, Big D’s Neponset Cafe in Canton is closing its doors.
The bar has been owned by the Titus family since 1946.
Longtime customers gathered for one last time tonight to shut down the longtime Canton staple.
Many songs and more than a few drinks were shared.

Donna and Gary Titus say it’s not going to be easy to move on.
“I retired once before already this year and I came back to work because it was hard. It’s hard to retire,” Donna told Boston 25 News.
“People have been great. They’ve been great. You have your ups and downs with them but you know what? Never let it get in the way,” said Gary.
Donna says she plans to spend more time golfing and taking train tours with her sister.
Gary says he’s just looking forward to not having to wake up so early in the morning.
