PLYMOUTH, Mass. — Three people were sent by ambulance to area hospitals following a five-car crash in Plymouth on Saturday, state police said.
The extent of their injuries were not immediately known on Saturday.
The crash occurred at 11:50 a.m. on Route 3 southbound, at mile marker 1.8, state police said.
One vehicle rolled over, and another vehicle ended up on its side, police said.
The crash snarled traffic on Saturday afternoon, with all lanes reopening by 3 p.m.
