Neighbors in the rural Westford community were left in shock after the woman's body was found.
“A little weird, just really not expecting it," Westford resident Michael Burns said. "We live down the road, so just not something you expect.”
The investigation is ongoing to determine whether foul play was a factor.

“They were here from 12 to like 4 o’clock," Burns said. "A couple cops came to my house."
Neighbors said, as they anxiously await details on what happened to the woman, they have their guard up, something they aren't used to in the area.
"Sometimes we can go out and you don't even lock the doors," Burns said.
An autopsy will be done on the woman to help determine how she died and police hope to be able to identify her soon.
