Franklin PD investigating bank robbery

FRANKLIN, Mass. — Franklin Police are trying to identify a suspect in a recent bank robbery.

On Thursday evening around 6:45, a man walked into the Digital Federal Credit Union on West Central Street. The man approached the counter and passed a note to the teller demanding money.

The man then left the store with an undetermined amount of money.

Police say no weapon was shown.

Officials are investigating. Anyone with information is asked to call police at (508) 528-1212.
