BOSTON — Firefighters gathered in Boston Saturday to mark the 8-year anniversary of a deadly fire in the city.

On March 26, 2014, a nine-alarm fire broke out at a row house on Beacon Street.

Lt. Edward Walsh Jr. and Firefighter Michael Kennedy both died while fighting that fire.

18 other people were injured in the fire, including 13 firefighters.

Saturday local firefighters joined Boston Fire Commissioner Dempsey, Father, Unni, and family members for a moment of silence to remember the two firefighters.
