Family sets up GoFundMe to help pay for 3-year-old's critical heart surgery in Boston

A three-year-old boy who was born with half a heart is undergoing his fourth surgery on Wednesday at Boston Children's Hospital.

According to a GoFundMe page created by his family, Noah Connally was born with a condition known as "hypoplastic left heart syndrome," in which the left side of his heart wasn’t correctly formed.

He has already undergone three heart surgeries.

His family from California is trying to raise a million dollars for the surgery, which is not being covered by insurance.

Their insurance denied coverage for the costly procedure, and according to the GoFundMe, they've held personal fundraisers and sold personal items to raise money, but they are worried it's still not enough to afford the medical bill.

So far, they've raised for more than $73,000.
