BOSTON — The attack in Las Vegas is forcing some security changes for the Red Sox game against the Houston Astros at Fenway Park Monday afternoon.
MORE: Additional security added for postseason Red Sox games
That comes after police said the shooter researched Fenway and other areas in Boston.
Gates at Fenway will open earlier than normal to try and help get fans into their seats.
Fans will also notice bag checks and metal detectors, and are being asked to get to the ballpark earlier because of the added security.
At game 3 of the ALDS Sunday, fans noticed extra police officers. Some of them stood on roofs around Fenway.
