Dorchester man dies after being stabbed in the chest

BOSTON — A man in Dorchester is dead following a stabbing inside a home on Thursday night.

Boston Police responded to reports of a person stabbed at around 10:45 p.m. at 19 Tremlett Street in Dorchester.

At the scene, officials found a man who had been stabbed in the chest.

The victim was transported to Boston Medical Center, where he was later declared dead.

While the man was stabbed, the exact cause of death still hasn't been determined.

The victim's name and age have not been released by police at this time.
