Brookline to discuss name change for elementary school

BROOKLINE, Mass. — The town of Brookline will meet to discuss a proposal to change the name of one of its schools.

Edward Devotion Elementary School is named after a man who gave his land to the town in the 1800s. Resident say that man was also a slave owner and having his name on the school sends the wrong message to students.
