Boston Police investigating after one person shot in Hyde Park

BOSTON — Boston Police have launched an investigation into a shooting that left one person seriously injured on Monday night.

Officers responded to the area of River Street and Wood Avenue, just one block from Boston Preparatory School, at around 9 p.m. for reports of a person shot.

At the scene, officers found the victim suffering from gunshot wounds. Authorities said the victim was alive when they were transported to Brigham and Women's Hospital.

According to investigators, no suspects have been arrested in connection to this shooting.

The victim has not been identified yet.
