Boston mother says she got into a fight with daughter's bus driver

BOSTON — Boston mother tells FOX25 she got in a fight with her daughter's bus driver and that it ended with her getting injured.

Elaine Eyala told FOX25 she was at the bus stop to pick her daughter up after the first day of kindergarten, but the bus came and her daughter was nowhere to be found.

After contacting the school, the principal said Eyala’s daughter had gotten on a different bus and would be dropped off at a different corner.

When that second bus arrived, Eyala said the driver wouldn't let her daughter off  -- and that’s when the altercation began.

“He bit me on my right breast, I have the bite mark. He broke the skin and everything,” she said.

The driver was also taken to the hospital for what are described as minor injuries.

Boston Public Schools told FOX25 that bus delays, route changes and confusion about which bus to take are common at the beginning of the school year.

Eyala said her daughter will likely not be getting on that same bus tomorrow morning, and she’s considering having her switched to a different school.
