MALDEN, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) -- A 52-year-old Malden man is facing his fourth operating under the influence offense after investigators say he hit an unmarked police cruiser Monday.
Investigators allege Anthony Panek drove his SUV into the cruiser outside the Malden Police Station before taking off from the scene. Witnesses were able to describe the SUV and give a partial license plate, which led to Panek's car being located about 100 yards from the scene of the crash.
Panek is facing charges that include leaving the scene of an accident and operating an unregistered motor vehicle, in addition to the OUI charge. He was scheduled for arraignment Tuesday in Malden District Court.
No one was injured in the crash.
