• 3 BPD officers on leave pending investigation into alleged payroll abuse

BOSTON - Boston Police has opened a probe into three of its officers following allegations of payroll abuse.

The officers have since been placed on administrative leave "pending an ongoing internal affairs investigation into time and attendance issues," said a department spokesman, Sergeant Detective John Boyle.

Given the investigation is still ongoing, no further measures have been taken until internal affairs has completed the investigation, Sgt. Boyle added.
