Adam Michael Zaborowski, 35, of Slatington, Penn., is charged with 31 crimes across two counties, including seven counts of attempted murder of a police officer, authorities say. Zaborowski is accused of shooting at a cigar store clerk over a mask dispute Friday and opening fire on state troopers the following morning during his arrest.

The body of Paul Cary, 66, arrived home in Colorado Sunday night, three days after he succumbed to COVID-19 in a New York City hospital. Cary, a longtime Aurora firefighter and paramedic before his 2010 retirement, was working with a private ambulance company when he volunteered in March to travel to New York to help relieve overwhelmed first responders there.


A woman, her son and her husband have been charged with first-degree murder in the death of Calvin Munerlyn, 43, of Flint, who was shot in the back of the head after refusing to allow the woman to shop without wearing a face mask, authorities said. Sharmel Lashe Teague was in custody Monday evening but the other two suspects, Ramonyea Travon Bishop, 23, Larry Edward Teague, 44, were being sought by police.
