MONDAY MISS
A coastal storm is a miss to our south. That means mostly cloudy skies, but dry weather. You should see some extra gaps in the clouds this afternoon with highs in the mid-upper 30s.
SEASONABLE & UNSETTLED
Mornings will be cool in the 20s this week, with seasonable afternoons ranging from the upper 30s to the lower 40s. We have several shots of rain and snow this week. Those milder temperatures should limit accumulation.
The first wave of light snow will come through Tuesday morning and midday (let’s say 7 AM - 1 PM). A patchy coating-1″ snowfall is expected, the hills and elevations seeing the higher end of that range with very little in Boston.
Precipitation will be heavier Wednesday afternoon and night with a mix of rain and snow. Again, temperatures look a little too mild for much accumulation in Boston or Worcester. North of the Pike we’re estimating a coating to 2″, at elevations 2-4″, best chance for sticking later in the day and overnight.
Keep an eye on Friday and this weekend for more unsettled weather too.
