WEATHER ALERT TUESDAY
An upper level low will gradually cross New England today and generate another round of unsettled weather. Storms with torrential rain, hail and lightning started before sunrise in NH, and storms will ramp up this afternoon thanks to the sunshine warming us up. Central and Eastern MA will see scattered (hit-or-miss) activity this afternoon. Locally heavy rain may lead to flooding in some communities. There may be a severe thunderstorm with hail 1″ in diameter and damaging gusts too. Stay alert for any watches or warnings issued in your town.
It will turn more comfortable tomorrow with a drop in dew points. You’ll notice the lower humidity and cooler temperatures. Highs will only make it to the lower 70s at the beaches with onshore wind. Interior spots will reach the mid or upper 70s. Clouds with possible mist and fog will start the day. Partial sun will develop in the afternoon.
Plan on another nice day Thursday. It should be a tad warmer and brighter.
