SUNDAY SHOWERS
It’s going to be another dreary day with clouds, cooler temperatures, wind and some showers. Bundle up and keep the rain gear with you if you are stepping out at any point today! It won’t be raining throughout the entire day, but be prepared for showers at any point - especially across eastern MA and southern NH. Highs will reach the mid 50s, which is almost 20 degrees cooler than where we should be this time of year, the wind won’t help with gusts up to 30 mph. It’s not the best weekend for boating, seas will be choppy with 5-8 ft waves, a Small Craft Advisory remains in effect through tonight. A Coastal Flood Advisory has also been issued for the overnight high tides that could lead to some minor flooding and splashover.
THIS WEEK
We have a lot more unsettled weather to get through this week. Steady light rain will taper off Monday morning, we will see some afternoon improvements with dry weather returning and a few breaks of sunshine away from the coast. A front is on the way Tuesday, this will trigger some showers and thunderstorms, mainly in the afternoon. Storms have the potential to pack heavy rain and lightning, we might even see some small hail or graupel thanks to a cold pocket of air aloft. Each day will feature clouds and some showers, our next chance for seeing more sunshine will arrive by the weekend. Stay up to date with the latest forecast with our Boston25 Weather App!
