Nate Solder teams up with Dana-Farber for pediatric cancer fundraiser

New England Patriots' Nate Solder Helps Stop & Shop Kick-Off Floral Campaign Benefiting the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and the Jimmy Fund.

The Ambassador Kids Fundraiser flower bouquets are exclusively available at Stop & Shop stores in Massachusetts, Connecticut and Rhode Island from March 3rd through April 16th

On Friday, March 3rd New England Patriots offensive tackle Nate Solder joined Stop & Shop at its Norwood store to kick-off a new fundraising campaign that supports pediatric cancer research and treatment at Boston's Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.  Dana-Farber pediatric patient Tommy Scardina of Marshfield, Mass. whose artwork will be displayed on a floral pick as part of one of the bouquets, will serve as one of two program ambassadors and attended the kick-off on Friday.

The Ambassador Kids Fundraiser flower bouquets are exclusively available at Stop & Shop stores in Massachusetts, Connecticut and Rhode Island from March 3rd through April 16th with a portion of the proceeds benefitting the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and the Jimmy Fund. The two brightly-colored mixed carnation bouquets feature artwork created by Tommy and Madelyn Alexander from Millis, Mass.

Stop & Shop has raised more than $65 million in the past 27 years for the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and the Jimmy Fund to support pediatric cancer research and treatment.
