FOXBORO — Lonie Paxton, the Patriots long-snapper from 2000-2008 before finishing his career with the Denver Broncos, returned to Foxboro to sign a one-day contract and officially retire as a New England Patriot.
Paxton watched practice Tuesday and addressed the media after the workout, reflecting on his most famous moments, when he did snow angels after the Divisional Playoff win over Oakland and the Super Bowl XXXVI win over St. Louis in 2001-02.
