A Boston Children's Hospital patient had a wish come true when he was given tickets to Game 1 of the World Series, but EMTs helped in a whole different way to help make his dream come true.
Paul Ferrier received a set of tickets to Game 1 between the Red Sox and Dodgers Tuesday night, but there was one issue when it came to getting to the game.
Ferrier had no means of transportation, and the Cataldo Ambulance Service offered to have a crew take him to Fenway Park as a donation on the service's behalf.
Cataldo EMTs Henry Kwong and Jason Walker were honored to help make Paul Ferrier’s dream come true- watching Game 1 of the World Series! Jason even bought Paul a Red Sox T-shirt! Great work and Go Sox ⚾️!!! #GoSox #TeamCataldo #CataldoAmbulance #WorldSeries pic.twitter.com/pHRYbUUzqS
