Wellesley Mothers Forum donates meal to frontline healthcare workers at Newton-Wellesley Hospital

WELLESLEY, Mass. — The Wellesley Mothers Club and their families donated a meal to the frontline healthcare workers at Newton-Wellesley Hospital as a way to say thank you for their tireless work during the coronavirus pandemic.

Lindsey McCullough, one of the organization’s co-presidents, told Boston 25 News the doctors and nurses serve as amazing role models for their children.

“Our healthcare providers truly embody the value of community service and have been heroes throughout this entire pandemic," McCullough said. “They’re serving on the frontlines and putting their own health at risk in order to help others.”

The mothers got their children involved by having them write letters and draw pictures for the healthcare professionals.

“It has been special beyond words to watch them make this connection,” McCullough said.

The Wellesley Mothers Club is a non-profit, community driven organization that’s committed to providing mothers of young children with support, knowledge and friendship.
