HYANNIS, Mass. — Two men have been arrested after an alleged armed robbery at the Willow Tree Market in Hyannis.
Police responded to the market around 8:30 p.m. Saturday after a phone call reporting the robbery by two men, one of them armed with a pistol.
The clerk told police one of the suspects, later identified as Cody Martin, pointed the gun and fired one shot. The clerk was not injured and at that point gave Martin the cash from the register.
Police said the second man, identified as Lamar Pringle, went to a different part of the store during the altercation, but ran off with Martin after the money was taken.
Martin is charged with armed robbery, assault with a dangerous weapon, unlawful possession of a firearm, larceny, and more. Pringle is charged with armed robbery.
In addition, a juvenile was arrested with the two men and during a search, police said they found a loaded gun.
The juvenile was arraigned and placed in DCF custody.
