SALEM (FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) - A 52-year-old Salem witch admitted in court on Tuesday that she slammed the head of her business rival against the window of a magic shop last August.
Laurie Stathopoulos was sentenced to two years of unsupervised probation after she reportedly assaulted 39-year-old Joanna Thomas on Aug. 13, 2011.
Thomas claims the harassment has been ongoing since she opened her shop, New England Magic, in 2005, reports The Eagle Tribune.
Stathopoulos' shop, Crow Haven Corner, and Thomas' shop are both on Essex Street in downtown Salem.
