BOSTON — A Roxbury man was arrested twice in the span of three days for two alleged altercations, according to MBTA transit police.
Cyier Ayala-Jones, 18, of Roxbury, was arrested for allegedly stabbing a man on Jan. 27. Transit police at Nubian Square Station were alerted to a confrontation and found a man suffering from an apparent non-life-threatening stab wound.
Witnesses pointed to Ayala-Jones as the assailant and he walked away from officers, refusing to comply, MBTA transit police said. He struggled with officers when they caught up to him, but was ultimately placed into custody. Once inside the patrol car, he allegedly kicked the windows and door, causing damage.
Officials recovered the knife used in the assault. The victim was brought to a local hospital for emergency surgery.
Ayala-Jones was processed for assault and battery with a dangerous weapon. Officials said the altercation allegedly started over appearances and words were exchanged.
On Jan. 29, Ayala-Jones was at Nubian Square Station again when another man was allegedly assaulted, transit police said.
Witnesses said Ayala-Jones showed a knife and attempted to assault a man for allegedly looking at his female companion, transit police said. The woman attempted to stop Ayala-Jones and she was stabbed in her shoulder.
She was brought to a local hospital with a non-life-threatening stab wound, transit police said.
