HOPEDALE, Mass. — A stretch of South Main Street (Route 140) in Hopedale is shut down because of a multi-vehicle crash.
The collision happened around 4:30 p.m. Wednesday in front of 336 South Main Street.
One person was taken by ambulance to Milford Regional Medical Center. Two other people involved in the crash refused treatment at the scene.
National Grid is on scene assessing the damage. The fire department said homes and businesses in the area could be without power well into the evening.
Drivers are being asked to avoid South Main Street between Hartford Avenue and Warfield Street if possible.
