WORCESTER, Mass. — One man is dead after a shooting in Worcester on Saturday evening.
Worcester Police officers were called to 64 Country Club Blvd. for a report of an assault with a dangerous weapon.
When they arrived on scene they found a 37-year-old man with a gunshot wound on the ground.
He was rushed to a local hospital where he died from his injuries.
Detectives are working to determine the circumstances but they do not believe this is a random act of violence.
An investigation is still ongoing.
