Police continue search for missing man in Norton

NORTON, Mass. — Norton Police announced Tuesday that they continued to search for a missing man from the town this week. That man, identified as 38-year-old Shannon Dolan, has not been seen since the end of May and was officially reported missing on Aug. 2.

Police conducted a water search for Dolan on Tuesday along with a ground search in the area of Elm Street and Reservoir Street in the town. State and local police conducted the searches, along with the Metropolitan Law Enforcement Council [Metro LEC]. On Monday, Metro LEC and the Auburn Fire Department used a cadaver dog to search parts of the Norton Reservoir.

“The searches have resulted in negative findings at this time,” Norton Police said Tuesday. “When Dolan was first reported missing, a search was conducted of his home [on Reservoir Street] and the surrounding area, opening an investigation into his whereabouts.”
