Police arrest 2 men following pursuit of U-Haul truck

AUBURN, Mass. — The pursuit of a stolen U-Haul truck ended with the arrest of two men Wednesday evening, Auburn Police confirmed to Boston 25 News.

A Boston 25 News photographer captured police arresting Paul B. Mock, 20, of Springfield, in the neighborhood behind the Auburn Mall.

Residents contacted our newsroom to inquire about the heavy police presence in their neighborhood.

Mock is charged with:

  • Receiving Stolen Property over $1200
  • Disturbing the Peace
  • Disorderly Conduct
  • Resisting Arrest
  • Receiving a Stolen Motor Vehicle
  • (3) Outstanding Arrest Warrants

Police also arrested Sean McKenzie, 28, of Springfield, in a separate location.

McKenzie is charged with:

  • 1 Arrest Warrant
  • Receiving a Stolen Motor Vehicle
  • Receiving Stolen Property over $1200
  • Resisting Arrest
  • Disturbing the Peace
  • Assault and Battery by a Dangerous Weapon
  • Negligent Operation of a Motor Vehicle
  • Operating on a Suspended Driver's License
  • Failure to Stop for a Police Officer
  • Numerous Motor Vehicle Offenses
