BOSTON — The Animal Rescue League of Boston is asking for help finding a dog that was stolen from its adoption center on Sunday.
ARL of Boston said on Sunday, a potential adopter took a 3-year-old Pit bull out for a walk and never returned.
It happened around 3 p.m. when a 55-year-old Boston man came into the adoption center with a woman and showed interest in Nick - a 3-year-old white and gray Pit bull-type dog.
Officials say the man left his Massachusetts ID with ARL staff and took Nick for a walk, but they never came back.
Nick, a 3 yr old white and gray Pitbull-mix, was taken for a walk by a potential adopter on April 8, but was not returned to the shelter. ARL has reported the incident to #BPD. If you see either Nick or the man shown in the picture below, do not approach or intervene, dial 911. pic.twitter.com/r5riMTMoe7

Anyone with information on the suspect or where Nick might be should call 911 immediately.
