BOSTON — The performers for the 2018 Boston Pops Fireworks Spectacular have been announced.
This year's headliner is Newton-native Rachel Platten - whose hit release "Fight Song" topped charts worldwide.
The Indigo Girls, musician Rhiannon Giddens and singer and actress Rita Moreno will also be there.
Organizers also announced a new option for people looking to enjoy the annual event.
This year, spectators will be able to watch the concert and fireworks on a big screen at the Rose Kennedy Greenway.

The event will be on the Charles River Esplanade on July 3 and 4.
