Boston police are looking for the person who stabbed and killed another man in the South End.
Police were called to the intersection of Southampton and Atkinson Streets just before 1 p.m.
"It was on the sidewalk. It looks like there was some sort of argument, and one person stabbed another in the leg, and unfortunately, he hit a main artery," said Boston Police Commissioner Bill Evans.

Officers were nearby on patrol and administered CPR, but the man died, said Evans.
He said the crime happened in broad daylight during a busy time, so he is hopeful someone may have seen something.
Investigators are also checking if any nearby surveillance cameras captured anything.
The victim, a man in his 50s, has not been identified.
