WESTBOROUGH, Mass — The Westborough Fire Department rushed to extinguish a roaring fire Friday morning after a home went up in flames.
An attachment to the one-floor home could be seen engulfed in the blaze.
** Traffic Alert ** Adams Street at Orchard Hill Drive is closed due to this building fire. Westborough Fire on scene. Road closure will be significant. Seek alternate route.

Adams Street at Orchard Hill Drive was closed while firefighters battled the flames. Drivers were advised to avoid the area.
It is not currently known if the residents were home at the time of the fire.
