BOSTON — Two Massachusetts schools have landed on the list of top “dream schools” among students applying for college and their parents, according to a new survey.

The Princeton Review surveyed 12,225 college applicants about their dream universities and found the Massachusetts Institute of Technology to be the top dream school among students. Harvard University is listed as number three on the top list.

Parents, on the other hand, chose Princeton University in New Jersey as the number one pick followed by Harvard as number two, and MIT landing at number 5.
