BOSTON — A Saugus firefighter who is also a decorated Navy veteran was honored on stage during the Zac Brown Band show at Fenway Park on Saturday night.
Greg Cinelli was thanked for his service in front of the sellout crowd at America’s most beloved ballpark.
Saugus Firefighters Local 1003 shared a video of Cinelli saluting the cheering fans as Zac Brown Band played their hit song, “Chicken Fried.”
“God bless America. Thank you for all your service,” Zac Brown could be heard saying at the conclusion of the song.
Since being posted to Facebook on Sunday morning, the video has been viewed hundreds of thousands of times.
