One person hospitalized after fire at triple-decker in Dorchester

BOSTON — One person has been taken to the hospital following a fire at a triple-decker in Dorchester.

The fire happened on Adams Street just after midnight.

According to Boston Fire, two people were rescued from the third floor.

One of those people was taken to the hospital and their condition is unknown.

Firefighters were able to knock down the fire quickly and contain the damage to the third floor. 13 people have been displaced.

Damages are estimated to be $500,000.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
