One killed, two seriously injured in head-on crash in Dartmouth

Dartmouth, Mass. — One person was killed and two others were seriously injured after a head-on collision in Dartmouth Sunday.

Officials responded to the area of 242 Chase Road just before 4 p.m. for a report of a head-on crash between a 2006 Cadillac Seville and a 2015 GMC Acadia,

The male driver of the Cadillac was transported to St. Luke’s Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.

The 82-year-old man driving the GMC, as well as his 75-year-old female passenger, were also treated at St. Luke’s for serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

The driver killed has not been identified at this time.

The cause of the crash is being investigated by the Dartmouth Police Department Crash Reconstruction Unit and the Massachusetts State Police Detective Unit of Bristol County.
