No joke: Dunkin’ is giving away free coffee on April Fools’ Day. Here’s how to get yours

CANTON, Mass. — Canton, Massachusetts-based Dunkin’ is giving away more than 1 million free coffees on Wednesday in an April Fools’ Day promotion that the chain insists isn’t a joke.

“April Fools’ might come with some trust issues, but we’re here to help you get through it. Whether you’re dodging office pranks or scrolling past one too many fake announcements, we’ve got your back – and your coffee," Dunkin’ wrote in an announcement.

The promotion is good for any size hot or iced coffee for Dunkin’ Rewards members, while supplies last.

So, how can you get your freebie? Customers simply have to enter the promo code “StillNotAJoke” in the Dunkin’ app.

Dunkin’ noted that the giveaway must be used on coffee and cold brew beverages only. Espresso is not included.
