NH man charged with possessing child sexual abuse images, state police say

ALSTEAD, New Hampshire — A New Hampshire man has been arrested and charged with possessing child sex abuse images, state police said.

Adam Damaziak, 40, of Alstead, is being held on preventative detention following his arrest on Tuesday, state police said Wednesday.

On Tuesday, members of the New Hampshire Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, comprised of investigators from the New Hampshire State Police, Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office, Homeland Security Investigations, and the Claremont Police Department, along with the assistance of the Alstead Police Department, executed a search warrant in Alstead.

The investigation initiated with a CyberTip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, which indicated the illegal use of computers and alleged possession and/or distribution of child sexual abuse images, state police said.

Damaziak is expected to be arraigned in Cheshire County Superior Court on Wednesday.
