New England brewing company wins award for being best craft brewery in America

SHELBURNE, Vt. -- A New England brewing company is getting national attention after it was recently named the best craft brewery in America.

Fiddlehead Brewing Company of Shelburne, Vermont, was nationally recognized as craft brewery of the year at the 2022 Brewbound Awards last week.

Fiddlehead has experienced double-digit growth every year since opening its doors in 2010, Brewbound noted.

Much of brewery’s success is driven by its flagship Fiddlehead IPA, which is said to account for 88 percent of the company’s sales.\

White Lion Brewing in Springfield, Massachusetts, was also named to Brewbound’s 2022 class of “Rising Stars.”

The annual Brewbound Awards recognize large and small beverage-alcohol companies that thrived over the last year.
